Inuyasha and his group are in for their greatest challenge yet. When they discover a mysterious, disappearing island populated entirely by half-demons, things get complicated. It seems that four powerful demons – also known as the Four War Gods – are controlling the island and devouring the power of the half-demons by forcing sacrificial offerings. When Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru both discover that they have been permanently branded by the war gods and are unable to escape the island, they must face their enemies and discover the truth behind what really causes the island’s mysterious disappearances. Can Inuyasha destroy the real source of the war gods’ powers? And can bring himself to cross swords with Kikyo, his long lost love, when he knows that there can be only one survivor?
