A time where vampires use to be abundant. Nonetheless they now are hunted mercilessly by bounty hunters who only do it for the money. There is one hunter named D, also know as a Dunpeal hunter. The Dunpeal hunter are known to be born from a human and a vampire mating. He and another band of hunters called The Marcus brothers are hired by a rich family to recovery their daughter whom was kidnapped by a vampire by the name of Mire. The Marcus brothers and D go after Mire to save her, each time resulting in failure. As they creep closer to retrieving her they find out she was not kidnapped.
